Join us on Friday, September 13th for a free bus tour and/or Schuylkill River Restoration Fund (SRRF) press event to celebrate successful restoration sites in the watershed! Click here to register.

About the 2019 SAN Bus Tour

The tour will stop at SAN partner restoration projects, including rain gardens, constructed wetlands, stormwater basins, stream restorations, and tree plantings. This year's tour will focus on sites within the Perkiomen Creek Watershed in Montgomery County.

We will have two pickup locations: the first at the Costco in Pottstown, and the second at the Park and Ride in King of Prussia. Please indicate which pickup location you will meet at in the registration.

You can either register for the entire day (which includes the SAN bus tour and SRRF press event) or just the SRRF press event (11:00am-12:30pm). See agenda below for more details.

Agenda

• 8:45am: First pickup at Pottstown Costco (14 Lightcap Rd, Pottstown, PA 19464)
• 9:15am: Second pickup at King of Prussia Park & Ride
• 10:00am: Tour Hunsberger Woods restoration projects
• 10:40am: Tour Perkiomen Township green infrastructure
• 11:00am: SRRF Press Event (hosted by Schuylkill River Greenways at the Perkiomen Township Pavilion)
• 11:30am: Lunch provided
• 12:45pm: Tour Scioto Wetland project
• 1:30pm: Tour Vineyards Community basin retrofits
• 2:30pm: Tour American Legion dam removal and stream restoration project
• 3:30pm: Drop-off in Pottstown
• 4:00pm: Drop-off in King of Prussia

Lunch will be provided; please indicate any dietary restrictions when you register.

Don't forget to wear closed-toe walking shoes and comfortable clothing! Please bring sunscreen and bugspray, and a refillable water bottle to reduce plastic use.
