Green City, Clean Waters: A Decade in the Community Celebration!

October 21, 2021 4:00pm to 7:00pm

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Green City, Clean Waters — the City of Philadelphia’s 25-year plan to improve local waterway health using primarily green stormwater systems backed by investments in traditional infrastructure.

The Philadelphia Water Department invites you to the Green City, Clean Waters: A Decade in the Community celebration on Thursday, October 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. outside of Crane Arts and along the 1400 Block of North American Street.

Green City, Clean Waters investments keep more than two billion gallons of pollution from entering the Delaware and Schuylkill River watersheds each year and has engaged more than 400,000 Philadelphians in this clean water journey!

Enjoy activities, light refreshments, green stormwater infrastructure tours, an official ribbon-cutting for the American Street Improvement Project, and more!

This event is rain or shine.

We will adhere to all City
COVID-19 guidance for
in-person events.
